Color fading in swimwear made of polyamide or Polyester can occur due to several factors such as chlorine in pools, improper care and exposure to sunlight (UV rays) . Here are some reasons and tips on how to protect your colorful swimwear from fading:
1. Chlorine in pools: Chlorine is commonly used in swimming pools to maintain hygiene, but it can have a negative impact on swimwear. Chlorine can cause colors to fade and fabric to deteriorate. Rinse your swimwear with clean water after every use to remove chlorine residue.
2. Improper care: Washing and drying swimwear improperly can contribute to color fading. To protect your swimwear, follow these care instructions:
- Hand wash your swimwear in cold or lukewarm water with a mild detergent.
- Avoid using bleach or harsh chemicals, as they can damage the fabric and cause colors to fade.
- Do not rub or wring your swimwear vigorously. Gently squeeze out excess water.
- Avoid machine washing or drying your swimwear, as this can cause color fading and damage to the fabric. Instead, lay it flat to dry in the shade.
3.Sunlight (UV rays): Prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause the colors in swimwear to fade over time. To protect your swimwear from fading, try to limit sun exposure or choose a shaded area when possible. Wearing a cover-up can also help to minimize color fading.
4. Rotate your swimwear: Wearing the same swimwear repeatedly can accelerate color fading. Consider rotating your swimwear to give them a break and minimize overexposure to elements that cause fading.
5.Our swimwear products, which are made of polyester and polyamide materials, are susceptible to damage from creams, oils, food items such as ketchup, and hot beverages like coffee. To ensure the longevity and quality of your swimwear, please avoid direct contact with these substances. Thank you for your understanding and care in preserving your swimwear.
By taking these precautions and following the care instructions, you can help protect your colorful swimwear from fading and keep it looking vibrant for longer.
Lint and Pilling
Pilling occurs when a material experiences continuous movement and pressure, causing it to lose some of its outer layer. On the other hand, snagging happens when a material gets caught or struck, resulting in lint coming out from it. These issues are more common with non-natural materials like nylon, polyester, and polyamide,
All synthetic products including ours are prone to such issues.
Be mindful of the materials your swimwear comes into contact with, as certain surfaces can be harsh on the fabric. To resolve this issue if you get lint ,I suggest using a lint remover machine specifically designed for removing lint. Using this machine will effectively remove the lint from your swimwear.
Now, let's talk about washing. It is crucial that the material does not undergo continuous movement or pressure in order to avoid pilling. Therefore, using a washing machine can potentially damage the material. Instead, it is advisable to wash such garments by hand. However, even when washing by hand, there are precautions to be taken. For instance, it is recommended to turn the garment inside out so that the surface is protected from pilling and snagging. Additionally, it is important to handle the garment gently when lifting it from the water, without squeezing it. Avoid using any chemical agents that might harm the material as well.
By following these guidelines, you can ensure that your garments are better protected during the washing process.
When washing, hand wash separately in cold ,we suggest to wash in running cold water. Avoid wringing or rubbing the fabric harshly.
And when drying make sure to lay down on a clean towel and roll it up and absorb the excess water and flat or line dry!

Drying Time for Swimwear
When it comes to drying swimwear made of Polyamide , Polyester fabric, the drying time can vary depending on several factors such as humidity, temperature, and airflow. Generally, in direct sunlight, this type of swimwear should take approximately 1-2 hours to dry completely. However, if left in the shade, the drying time might increase to 2-3 hours due to the absence of direct heat from the sun.
Now, if you wish to expedite the drying process, here are a few helpful tips:
1. Use Proper Ventilation: Ensuring proper airflow around the swimwear can significantly speed up the drying process. If possible, place the swimwear in an area with good ventilation or near a fan to promote air circulation.
2. Remove Excess Moisture: Before attempting to dry the swimwear, gently squeeze out any excess water from the fabric. This will help reduce the overall drying time.you can also lay down on a clean Towel and roll it up and absorb the excess water.
3. Hang it Up: Hang the swimwear on a clothesline or drying rack, making sure it is spread out and not folded or bunched up. This will assist in maximizing airflow and allow the fabric to dry more efficiently.
4. Choose the Right Time: If you have the option, choose to dry your swimwear during a sunny, warm, and less humid day. These conditions will aid in speeding up the drying process.
